| When I'm not slaving away following educational and research pursuits I enjoy a few other things. I'm an avid hockey fan and player both on the ice and more recently on inline skates as well. I enjoy racquet sports (racquetball in particular), skiing, snowboarding and have been missing out on them all with a recent double knee surgery to get a new ACL (anterior cruciate ligament). | My family includes my father Wayne, my
mother Lorraine and my new step-parents, Margie and Murray. I have an awesome
sister Tamara and an adorable neice named Jessica as well as a couple of new
brothers Chris and Jason, thanks to Margie . I had the honour of getting
married Dec. 22, 1999 to my lovely wife Sandra and inherited her very cool
family as well. I was born in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada (part of Toronto) and grew up a little north of there in Keswick. I went up to Thunder Bay to do an Honour's Bachelour of Physical Education at Lakehead University and decided to go south for a graduate degree. Way south. I recieved a Master of Science degree from Auburn University in Alabama and went on to complete a Ph.D. at the University of Florida. |
